I met Jeanne a few years back while volunteering in Liberia with Mercy Ships. I was really excited when she emailed me earlier this year, asking if I could come to Texas to photograph her wedding.
Almost two weeks ago, Rich and I traveled to the Lone Star state to photograph Jeanne and Ephraim's wedding. From the moment we arrived, we could sense this couple was rich in love; love for each other, love from family, and the love of God. It was a beautiful union of which we were blessed to be a part of. And we can't say enough about the gracious Texan hospitality that was shown to us.
Here are a few photos from a truly wonderful day.
God bless,
Meg

Away we go
Tomorrow morning, Rich and I are headed to the Philadelphia airport to photograph our first Texan wedding. I have always loved going to new places. Now that I have a handsome husband to travel with, it's even more fun :) I am looking forward to posting some photos when we get back. Have a great weekend! -Meg

Three reasons to be happy today.
1. The colors of spring. I have been loving the mild weather and spring blooms. I wish I could hit repeat on this weather.
2. Coffee with my sister-in-law, Nikki. It was a perfect day to enjoy a strong cup of iced coffee and some nice conversation in quaint Newtown.
3. Morning and Evening by Charles Spurgeon. I have been a fan of this articulate devotional since high school. I found the quote below particularly comforting today. "In the everlasting settlements of predestinating wisdom and omnipotent decree, the eye of the Lord Jesus was ever fixed on us; and we may rest assured that in the whole roll of destiny there is not a line which militates against the interests of His redeemed." -Charles Spurgeon

A few reasons to be happy today.
I married a great guy. He's a lot of fun. I really love him. He really loves me. That is pretty wonderful.
This great guy bought me tulips. And I am a woman, therefore I love seeing flowers at my doorsteps.
There is a full spread of vintage sheet music sitting on my kitchen table. A remarkable thrift store find. The colors and design of the covers are beautiful. These will definitely serve as inspiration for a future photo session. My mind is already turning with ideas.

Engagement Session: Karen and Joe
Last week, I was able to photograph this beautiful couple, Karen and Joe, at the little-known garden behind Bucks County Community College. It was a lovely, cool evening, and we had a lot of fun with this shoot. I am looking forward to photographing their upcoming wedding in September. Thanks guys! Enjoy the photos :) -Meg
