A few images from Cape Town

Below are a few of my favorite photos from our time in Cape Town. It is such a beautiful place- I think everyone needs to go there at least once in their lives.

Rich made his first attempt at surfing.
 Jelly fish
Feeding time in the big fish tank.
I strong love for penguins.  I won't say how many penguin photos I actually took....
Mom's friend Brenda. We were visiting her house and everything was so perfect I HAD to take her photo :)
At first we thought that was a fake cat.  But the cat had just decided to give everyone a great photo-op.

We ate lunch at this super cute outdoor restaurant called The Pepper Tree.  With was in the Cape Town suburb of Philadelphia :)

This is the beach where Rich and I got engaged.

The Joys of Bubbles

Having been away for two weeks I have quite a bit of blogging to catch up on.  I will start with a few photos of possibly the cutest kid on this planet, my sister-in-law's (Nikki) nephew Rhome.  After seeing photos of him on Facebook for the past several months I was so happy to finally meet him in person before leaving for our trip.  Above are a few photos of Rhome enjoying the beauty of bubbles.

I Heart Faces

Every week I Heart Faces presents a different theme of which photographers submit photos accordingly.  As the name would suggest, each photo regardless of the theme must include human face.  This weeks theme is "Water".  Above is one of my favorite photos from my time in Benin- Anicette getting a bath from her mother the day after her cleft lip was surgically corrected.

Wedding:Jill and John

All day Saturday I held my breath as I watched large, dark clouds pass through the sky.  Fortunately, they did not linger.  Jill and John could not have asked for a nicer evening to celebrate their marriage.  Everything about the wedding was beautiful - the stunning bride, the venue, the flowers, and the amazing cake. Rich and I were privileged to celebrate with such a fun, happy couple,  and we particularly enjoyed the groom's rendition of the Humpty Dumpty Rap.  Below are a few images from the day.  Congratulations, Jill and John!
