Longwood Gardens

My family and I spent the day at Longwood Gardens. It was my first time visiting and I was very impressed. When we first walked into the conservatory I felt as if I had found C.S. Lewis's magical wardrobe and been transported to a new land of continual warmth and sunshine. The stunning colors, patterns, and textures of the botanical gathering testified to the creativity of our Maker.
We ended the day with a wonderful dinner at Penang, of which I am still full.

Family, beauty, and food- it was a great day.

Faith and Greg

I (Meg) had a great time photographing my long-time friend Faith and her fiance Greg at Grounds For Sculpture. Even in the middle of winter, the grounds were beautiful. It was a great morning and I can't wait to be a part of their wedding day.

Jessica and Rob

Last weekend Rich and I had a great time photographing Jessica and Rob. We are looking forward to their wedding in in April!!

Patterns and lines.

During one of the many snowstorms I took a series of photos of lines and patterns in our apartment. The final result was a very colorful collage.

Richard

I was sitting in the kitchen working on my computer this weekend while my husband was playing guitar in the living room. When I glanced over my screen he just looked so cute sitting there I couldn't help but take a few photos. Fortunately, he is a gracious (and handsome :) subject and he didn't mind me snapping away while he played. I was really happy with the way these turned out. Maybe he can use them for his first album :)
